A Journey No Family Expects
Rookie Flaitz was a vibrant toddler full of life and energy, but everything changed when he woke up one morning with unusual symptoms. A sudden diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) before his second birthday turned the Flaitz family’s world upside down. The intense treatment stole much of Rookie’s early years, but his brave battle inspired the creation of the Rookie of the Year Foundation, with a mission to ensure no child’s birthday is overshadowed by illness.

The Rookie of the Year Foundation, Ltd., is organized and operated under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as a charitable organization, EIN 99-2887130. The organization's tax-exempt status is pending.
